Yellow buttermilk cake with sour cream fudge frosting

In honor of @Samin on RL, presenting the one time I’ve ever locked into baking. This cake is perfection because Samin Nosrat’s recipes never lie. It takes some effort (see: sprinkles) but that in itself is a gift, whether your loved one is turning 3 or 63.
